We are very exited about our upcoming camp and the opportunity of "traveling" with your kids to China! It will be a true adventure!
The students will be exposed to Mandarin Chinese as part of the instructional language, at activities, free play and meal time. They will participate in traditional Chinese games, do Chinese crafts, taste Chinese snacks, use chopsticks, draw Chinese style water and ink paintings, and practice Chinese martial art...... We are starting each day by a morning circle at 9:15 am and closing by a debriefing circle ending at 2 pm. If the students arrive between 8:30 - 9:15, they usually join the morning before-school care and play outside. The teachers will escort the students from and to the before-and-after care on time. To keep up with the pace of the schedule/activities, the student's regular attendance is highly appreciated!
We are using this blog site to keep a brief record of what we are studying in this camp. Please find pictures, activity notes, and some learning resourse links here, which will be updated daily. Thank you for sending your precious and open-minded child to us! We can't wait to start the trip with you all!
